Born and raised in Venezuela, I studied in the most prestigious architecture school in the country, obtaining a high mark in her final project leading to her degree and becoming a registered architect.
Later I founded Salazar-Crazut Arquitectura with my partner in business and life, Cesar Salazar, focusing primarily on residential work and furniture design.
I won a scholarship to study abroad and moved to Brooklyn, NY, to look at Pratt Institute, where I obtained my Master’s degree in Interior Design. Soon after graduating from Pratt, I spent time working in New York and Caracas, both as a freelance designer and as a team member in one of the most recognized interior design offices in NYC, TPG Architecture, where I was part of the architectural studio as a designer and project architect.
My passion and strength is Design, no matter how big or small the project or object is. I particularly enjoy working in small spaces, where I thrive on the challenge of finding beauty and order within scale limitations.
Most recently, I am applying this passion for design to my jewelry collection for 2C Design. A longtime hobby of mine, my current focus on jewelry design confirms that there is no object or project too small for her. In her view, the smaller the thing, the bigger the challenge.
